Pokemon The Political Version
Much like a kid with his Pokemon cards, our elected officials are running around collecting citizens for future use when they battle the opposing political party every few years. That’s why they work so hard at keeping us split-up into so many groups.
One side throws down their “Angry young black man” card, and the other side has to counter with their “Scared suburban moms” and their “At-risk children” cards. It’s time for the people of this country to wake the heck up and realize what the two parties are doing to us. If you’re tired of being used and a pawn in their sick game, stop throwing your hands up and yelling, “Me me me, pick me next.”
We are not Republican Americans and Democrat Americans, we are American citizens, and by God, it’s time we start acting like it.
